Find Seeds

The work done by seed crop producers across Canada is at the heart of our program. In recent years, several events have disrupted seed supplies and challenged long-held assumptions around seed availability. The Covid-19 pandemic, Canada Post shutdowns, trade uncertainty, rising import costs, and extreme weather events impact connections between seed growers and buyers in a global industry. Choosing to source seed from regional growers is an important way to support food, farming, and seed sovereignty in Canada.
