BIOGRAPHY
After more than 20 years in the apparel industry, Marianne Bergeron made a career shift to the agri-food sector, guided by her passion for food and sustainable development. For the past three years, she has been in charge of the seed program as well as research and development at Coop Agrobio du Québec, a cooperative comprising more than 140 certified organic grain producers. There, she leads several initiatives, including monitoring test plots on producers’ farms, importing seeds from Europe, and propagating certified seeds. Curious and dedicated, Marianne is constantly exploring new ideas to diversify the seed offerings and better meet the needs of members.
